My Approach

My services are comprehensive and thorough. I typically use the guidelines listed below, but, in my experience, every project is unique and so my approach and feedback will be guided and informed by that individuality.

Narrator / Point of View;
Characterization;
Grammar;
Word choice;
Syntax;
Rhyme originality (is it forced to fit the story, or does it compliment the story?);
Rhyme scheme (if applicable);
Internal rhythm; and
Story Arc – beginning, middle and resolution.

Writing is a craft, and improving one’s craft is an eternal cycle that is not accomplished alone. If you’re looking to build a long-term relationship with an editor who is deeply invested in you and your work then I would love to hear from you.
