6 Steps to Personal Peace

My personal peace underwent great upheaval during 2016, but I did harvest some wisdom during the tempests.
  1. During times of intense emotion, think of yourself as a shaken snow globe. 
    While you wait for the snow to settle...
    ~ Give your emotions a voice by writing them down instead of expressing them 
    ~ Release your emotions through tears
    ~ Refrain from decision-making
    ~ Breathe. Do not battle.
  2. Don't second guess yourself. Honour your instincts.
  3. Nurture your inner peace by meditating once a day.
  4. Be heartful, not hurtful to yourself and others.
  5. Think through your battles to conclusion (1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year) 
    before you pick them.
  6. Give yourself permission to fall and fail. Wisdom is collective branches on a 
    tree of experience.
I hope these 6 tips help you as much as they have helped me.
